Merry christmas!

hey everybody! it's the blog's first christmas and we're welcoming the new year. so for our new year's resolution, we're asking for your input. what did you like so far, and how can we improve? merry christmas and happy new year.

finally, panorama...

finally I've learned to do it. a panorama is a giant photograph made of a several different images. also I should say I drew this, and think it's awesome (the title is flying fish).

STICK WARS!!!

awesome stick battle i created. for those of you that don't know a stick battle is drawn for two players, a pencil is stood on the lead held by your finger tip next to the character of your choice. it is then "shot" at the opennent. players alternate until opposing figures are destroyed or power source is defeated. you can take out walls depending on density. wall density is written on wall. if you want a copy just email me.

Robot

Sorry I haven't posted in forever. but here's my best art piece yet:

the robot is made from an old radio from our car. don't worry, my dad got a new one.

More Drawings

Hi, this is Obed.I have more drawings! Like I said, I drew them with a pencil, then darkened them with a pen.Sorry I didn't think ahead (again) and got little pieces of other drawings in the pictures. I really need to get the scanner up so I can just scan the pictures. Than they wont look uneven and stuff.

In case you didn't notice, this random guy with glasses is no random guy at all, but my favorite character to draw. His name's Bob. He's the hero in my comics, and like me, his signature is a thumbs up also. Oh yeah that's his sidekick cat, Mr. Squat.

He's using the Pencil of Light to ward of an evil creepy guy. I really want to show you people my comics, so if I figure out a way I will share them with you. Oh and by the way, My novel, and Brian's, is coming out awesome. We will have finished the outline-skeleton stuff in a few weeks, and then its time for some actual writing action! I hope my enthusiasm lasts though. I've heard it can be really hard to write a book.

I Carved a Boot

Hey, Obed here. Today my uncle showed me how to wood carve. He walked me through the steps and this is what I got in the end:
I started with a blank like this:

All I had to do was round it out with a knife, add that little rim, and sand it down. I only got one cut on my finger (the only one that bled that is) which was pretty surprising. I'm not done though. I will probably add little details later, and wood burn it to give it a cool effect.

Hello! It's Brian. I'm gonna start putting watermarks on my art creations just for safety purposes. also why i'm writing about this i shoould ask that you not copy/paste any thing from this blog. I only ask this out of respect for obed and I. it's actually considered stealing by doing so. If you like to email me or Obed about a creation you'd like to have probably be more than willing to give you copy (Obed might charge you for it just kidding probably not). here's the logo for our blog. the lost toy

Hey everybody! Here's another one of my pieces of art. It's a picture of a toy that one of my friends lost when he was young. He was digging in his yard when they found it. The picture

looks kind of dark so don't think i'm some creepo. Well, I am wierd, just not that kind of wierd.

WE THE PEOPLE

hey peoples! it's Brian; this will be my first piece of art: "we the people of?

Well this week in history I'm learning about the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. The first line of the Declaration is, "We the people..." I started thinking, "who are we the people of?" To the world, you're your own person; it's all about you. Well, when you're a Christian, sometimes you think to yourself, "well, I'll just take the middle path." In the youth group at my church we talked about this "middle path". In life there is no middle path- you either choose to be the people of the world, or we can be the people of God. I'll bet you're saying "so I can't go hang out with my friends who aren't Christians?" Well Jesus didn't always hang out at the synagogue never going any where did He? No. I mean even one of his friends (Matthew, his disciple) was a tax collector. And if you didn't know, tax collectors would usually steal some of the money he earned. So the answer to your question is, "No. Go hang out with your friends- just do it the way jesus would."

Hi everybody. I don't have any pictures of art right now, but I do have cool news! I'm writing a novel. Not sure about a title, but it's Sci-Fi, plenty of action, and stars a boy named Terence. Maybe I'll do another post on it later.
